Questions about switching
Can I switch without my development stopping?
Yes. Your new team in Moldova first builds up knowledge and takes over your code while your current setup continues as normal. You only switch over once the new team can handle the work. That way development keeps going and there's no gap in your releases.
How long does it take to switch to your own team?
Usually 3 to 6 weeks, from the first intro call to a team working on your product on its own. How fast it goes depends on the roles you need and how much knowledge there is to hand over. We help get the handover going as soon as the first team members are in place, so you don't have to wait for the full team.
What happens to my code and the knowledge in my current team?
They stay yours and move over to your new team in a structured way. We help plan the handover of code, documentation and working agreements so the knowledge is secured before your current setup stops. You keep ownership of your code and your repositories; we provide the people who work on them.
Do I have to end my current partnership or contract first?
No, not straight away. You can build up your new team while your current arrangement is still running, so you only give notice once you're sure the switch is working. We match the pace to your notice period and your running sprints, so the two don't get in each other's way.
How do I manage the team, and in what language?
You stay in control: you decide the work, the sprints and the way of working. The team is based in Chișinău, only a small time difference from you, so your working days overlap comfortably and you can talk every day. The collaboration runs in English. We handle recruitment, the office, HR and day-to-day operations on the ground.
