Who is Backstage IT and where are your teams based?
Backstage IT is a Dutch company that builds dedicated development teams in Chișinău, Moldova. Each team works exclusively for one client. We handle recruitment, office, HR and local operations, while you direct the developers as if they were your own in-house colleagues.
Who manages the developers day to day?
You do. You set priorities, assign work and run the development process, exactly as with in-house staff. Backstage IT does not manage the technical work; instead we handle everything around the team locally, including HR, office, infrastructure and daily support, so your developers stay focused on building.
How is an Extended Team different from outsourcing or hiring contractors?
An Extended Team is a dedicated, long-term team that you direct yourself, not an outsourced project or a rotating contractor. The developers work only for you, integrate into your stack and process, and stay on the team over time. The model is built for retention and continuity rather than short engagements.
What happens if a developer leaves?
Backstage IT handles replacement and continuity as part of local operations. If someone leaves, we recruit and screen candidates for you to select, and our HR and infrastructure support are aimed at keeping turnover low. The team stays yours, so knowledge and process continuity remain with you.
